“I joined 212 degree fitness a little less than a year ago after menopause set in and I gained 50 lbs. No matter what I did, I just kept gaining those lbs.
My first experience was with the boot camps. Everyone there was welcoming and supportive. I never felt self-conscience and I knew every time I went, I was seeing friends. After an injury to my back/shoulder, at an outside event, I was not able to attend the boot camps and went to personal training with Chris. He helped me to build my strength back and gave me modification exercises that I could do at boot camp. After that, I realized that many people had modifications some harder some easier. They really care about you as an individual. You will not find that at a big box gym.
To date I have lost 20 lbs and 4 inches in my waist! I have gone down 2 sizes. Thanks to Chris and the personal training he has given me, the last inch I lost was within this last month. I feel stronger, have better balance, more energy and better self-esteem. Delisa and Dre are wonderful too. They are always supportive and are genuinely interested in how I am doing.
